Earlier in the year I was commissioned to create a cake box for their hedgehog cake. The assignment: create a fun cakebox with lots of bugs, leaves and hedgehogs . . . They had me at bugs.

Children guess what item of clothing is in the washing machine by feel while trying to avoid pulling out the polka dotted underwear. In creating the illustrations for the packaging and game cards I used a lot of texture in the backgrounds and on the characters. The textures are a series of brush strokes mixed with funky, fun shapes.
