I grew up in Tennessee where my grandparents farm, Saturday morning cartoons and the Sunday Funnies fueled my imagination.

I began my art career in advertising and publishing but left all that to work in my basement and focuses totally on illustration and writing childrens books.

When not working in the basement, I live in the upstairs portion of my house with my wife, 2 kids and our nutty dog, Izzi.

I work to create art and stories that are playful and filled with whimsy allowing the viewer to be swept away to a magical world where animals talk, robots look like gum ball machines and children can become pirates.

I love to draw pictures and I love to telling stories.
